Lingvi\u015ftii r\u0103spund  la aceast\u0103 dilem\u0103"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cuv\u00e2ntul &#8220;Pa\u0219te&#8221;, care a intrat \u00een firescul exprim\u0103rii cotidiene \u00een limba rom\u00e2n\u0103, ar fi gre\u0219it, spun teologii ortodoc\u0219i.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen timp ce fe\u0163ele biserice\u015fti atrag aten\u021bia c\u0103 exprimarea corect\u0103 pentru S\u0103rb\u0103toarea Sfintelor Pa\u0219ti este \u00een &#8220;forma exclusiv\u0103 de plural&#8221;, \u0219i anume Pa\u0219ti, lingvi\u015ftii sunt mai \u00eeng\u0103duitori.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PA\u015eTE sau PA\u015eTI? Cum e corect? Regretatul lingvist George Pruteanu ne scoate din aceast\u0103 dilem\u0103.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mult\u0103 lume m-a \u00eentrebat cum se spune corect: Pa\u015fti sau Pa\u015fte. R\u0103spund pe scurt astfel: s\u0103rb\u0103toarea are \u00een originile sale \u2013 dac\u0103 trecem de etapa ebraic\u0103 &#8220;pesah&#8221; \u2013 \u015fi acea azimioar\u0103 numit\u0103 pasc\u0103 (dupa opinia etnologului Simion Florea Marian; al\u0163i cercet\u0103tori sunt de p\u0103rere c\u0103 mielul jertfit purta acest nume, de &#8220;pasc\u0103&#8221;). La plural, acest cuv\u00eent face &#8220;pa\u015fti&#8221;: o pasc\u0103, dou\u0103 pa\u015fti, conform unei alternan\u0163e obi\u015fnuite \u00een rom\u00e2ne\u015fte, cum e \u015fi \u00een verbul a pa\u015fte: &#8220;s\u0103 pasc\u0103, s\u0103 pa\u015fti&#8221; sau a na\u015fte: &#8220;s\u0103 nasc\u0103, s\u0103 na\u015fti&#8221; etc. A\u015fadar, Pa\u015fti e pluralul de la pasc\u0103. Resim\u0163it, \u00een mod normal, ca un plural, vorbitorii au c\u0103utat, c\u00eend era vorba de s\u0103rb\u0103toarea \u00eentr-ale c\u0103rei zile ne afl\u0103m, au c\u0103utat singularul, \u015fi astfel a fost derivat singularul &#8220;Pa\u015fte&#8221;, spun\u00eendu-se, firesc, fie &#8220;s\u0103rb\u0103torile de Pa\u015fti&#8221;, fie &#8220;s\u0103rb\u0103toarea Pa\u015ftelui&#8221;. Am\u00eendou\u0103 formele sunt la fel de corecte, \u015fi alte subtilit\u0103\u0163i pe aceast\u0103 tem\u0103 nu au substan\u0163\u0103, e o fals\u0103 problem\u0103&#8221;, explica regretatul George Pruteanu.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Spre a v\u0103 convinge suplimentar c\u0103 aceste dou\u0103 forme sunt folosite aleatoriu, ori una ori alta, f\u0103r\u0103 vreo deosebire de sens, am cules din din Dic\u0163ionarul limbii rom\u00e2ne al Academiei (dic\u0163ionarul tezaur), c\u00eeteva atest\u0103ri ale cuv\u00eentului \u00een limba veche, unde le g\u0103sim \u00een mod egal pe am\u00eendou\u0103. Venind mai \u00eencoace, la Co\u015fbuc g\u0103sim &#8220;Pa\u015fti&#8221; (&#8220;Era dup\u0103 Pa\u015fti \u015fi era un timp bun&#8221;), dar la Negruzzi, Hasdeu sau Delavrancea, &#8220;Pa\u015ftele&#8221;: iat\u0103 un citat din Hasdeu: &#8220;\u0162ara mai \u00eent\u00eei de toate; Pa\u015ftele mai pe urm\u0103!&#8221;). \u015ei la scriitorii moderni g\u0103sim ambele forme, a\u015fa c\u0103, repet, sunt deopotriv\u0103 corecte, una fiind perceput\u0103 ca singular, alta ca plural.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PA\u015eTE sau PA\u015eTI?<\/strong> &#8220;\u00cen aceea\u015fi ordine de idei, a\u015f mai avea de ad\u0103ugat c\u0103 exist\u0103 \u015fi un nume de persoan\u0103, destul de frecvent \u00een multe \u0163\u0103ri, inclusiv a noastr\u0103, legat de s\u0103rb\u0103toarea Pa\u015ftelui. E vorba de numele Pascal, foarte obi\u015fnuit \u00een rom\u00e2ne\u015fte sub forma Pascu. Ini\u0163ial, el era atribuit \u00eendeob\u015fte celor n\u0103scu\u0163i \u00een aceast\u0103 perioad\u0103. Originea numelui e u\u015for depistabil\u0103: ea se afl\u0103 \u00een adjectivul latinesc paschalis (derivat din substantivul pascha) \u015fi care \u00eenseamn\u0103 &#8220;pascal&#8221;, &#8220;de Pa\u015fti&#8221;, ceva care \u0163ine de s\u0103rb\u0103toarea Pa\u015ftilor. \u00cen documente rom\u00e2ne\u015fti, numele Pascal apare de pe la 1428, iar la 1441 g\u0103sim deja varianta autohton\u0103 Pascu&#8221;, conchidea acesta.<\/p>\n<p>A\u015fadar,\u00a0<strong>Pa\u015fte sau Pa\u015fti?\u00a0<\/strong>In DOOM si DEX gasim precizarile de mai jos, in legatura cu substantivul propriu \u201cPaste\/Pasti\u201d (la care am adaugat si cuvantul \u201cpasca\u201d, pentru ca provine din acelasi etimon (cuvant de origine) latinesc si pentru a ne aminti ca forma corecta de genitiv-dativ este \u201cpasc\u0103i\u201d):<\/p>\n<p>DOOM (Dictionarul ortografic, ortoepic si morfologic al limbii romane), 2005:<\/p>\n<p>!pa\u0219te\/pa\u0219ti\u00a0(paine sfintita) s.n.pl.art. pa\u0219tele\/pa\u0219tile<\/p>\n<p>!Pa\u0219te (sarbatoare)\u00a0s.propriu m.pl.Pa\u0219ti\u00a0(doi Pa\u0219ti, dar pl.n. Sfintele Pa\u0219ti)<\/p>\n<p>!pasca\u00a0(prajitura, paine nedospita) s.f., g.-d. art.\u00a0<em>pasc\u0103i<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>DEX (Dictionarul explicativ al limbii romane)<\/strong>\u00a0precizeaza diversele sensuri ale cuvantului si etimologia:<\/p>\n<p><strong>PA\u0218TI\u00a0<\/strong>s. m. \u00a01. S\u0103rb\u0103toare religioas\u0103 celebrat\u0103 de cre\u0219tini \u00een amintirea Invierii lui Hristos, iar de evrei \u00een amintirea eliberarii acestora din robia egipteana. \u25ca Expr.\u00a0<em>Nu e \u00een toate zilele Pa\u0219ti<\/em>\u00a0sau\u00a0<em>o dat\u0103 pe an e Pa\u0219ti<\/em>\u00a0= nu se petrec \u00een fiecare zi evenimente deosebite.\u00a0<em>Din an \u00een Pa\u0219ti<\/em>\u00a0sau\u00a0<em>din joi \u00een Pa\u0219ti<\/em>,\u00a0<em>din Pa\u0219ti \u00een Cr\u0103ciun<\/em>\u00a0= foarte rar, la intervale mari de timp.\u00a0<em>La Pa\u0219tile cailor<\/em>\u00a0(sau\u00a0<em>calului<\/em>) = niciodat\u0103. 2.
