Dintre afec\u0163iunile legate de c\u0103ldur\u0103, crampele de c\u0103ldur\u0103 este cea mai u\u015foar\u0103, iar insola\u0163ia &#8211; cea mai grav\u0103. C\u0103ldura corpului, combinat\u0103 cu cea a mediului ambiant, are ca rezultat ceea ce se nume\u015fte temperatura central\u0103 sau cea interioar\u0103 a corpului. Corpul este nevoit s\u0103 regleze plusul de c\u0103ldur\u0103 pe vreme cald\u0103 pentru a men\u0163ine o temperatur\u0103 central\u0103 potrivit\u0103. Corpul se r\u0103ce\u015fte prin transpira\u0163ie, deoarece evaporarea ei regleaz\u0103 temperatura. Dar atunci c\u00e2nd faci efort intens sau suprasolici\u0163i organismul pe vreme cald\u0103 \u015fi umed\u0103, corpul este mai pu\u0163in capabil s\u0103 se r\u0103ceasc\u0103 eficient. Pot contribui la epuizarea de la c\u0103ldur\u0103, pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 vremea cald\u0103 \u015fi activitatea intens\u0103, \u015fi alte condi\u0163ii precum:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*deshidratarea, care reduce capacitatea corpului de a transpira \u015fi de a men\u0163ine o temperatur\u0103 normal\u0103;\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*consumul de alcool, care poate afecta capacitatea corpului de a-\u015fi regla temperatura;\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*hainele neadecvate, \u00een special cele care nu permit transpira\u0163iei s\u0103 se evapore u\u015for;\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*obezitatea poate afecta capacitatea corpului de a-\u015fi regla temperatura \u015fi poate determina corpul s\u0103 se supra\u00eenc\u0103lzeasc\u0103.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Riscuri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Riscurile cele mai mari pentru extenuarea dat\u0103 de c\u0103ldur\u0103 le au sugarii \u015fi copiii mai mici de 4 ani \u015fi adul\u0163ii peste 65 de ani. Capacitatea corpului de a-\u015fi regla temperatura nu este pe deplin dezvoltat\u0103 la copii. La adul\u0163ii \u00een v\u00e2rst\u0103, bolile \u015fi medicamentele pot afecta capacitatea organismului de a controla temperatura. Printre medicamentele incriminate se afl\u0103 cele utilizate pentru a trata hipertensiunea arterial\u0103 \u015fi problemele cardiace (beta-blocante, diureticele), cele pentru alergii (antihistaminice), calmantele \u015fi antipsihoticele.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u0103suri preventive. Purtarea de \u00eembr\u0103c\u0103minte lejer\u0103, protec\u0163ia \u00eempotriva arsurilor solare, men\u0163inerea hidrat\u0103rii \u015fi evitarea activit\u0103\u0163ilor \u00een c\u0103ldur\u0103, \u00een mijlocul zilei, ajut\u0103 la prevenirea epuiz\u0103rii de la c\u0103ldur\u0103.
