Argumentul principal este c\u0103 nu exist\u0103 suficiente dovezi c\u0103 \u00een\u0103sprirea frecven\u021bei ar reduce semnificativ num\u0103rul accidentelor, iar statele membre au deja libertatea de a impune reguli mai stricte dac\u0103 consider\u0103 necesar acest lucru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00cen acela\u0219i timp, regulile vor fi actualizate pentru a include verific\u0103ri suplimentare legate de tehnologia modern\u0103 a ma\u0219inilor. Sistemele de siguran\u021b\u0103, precum airbagurile sau fr\u00e2narea automat\u0103 de urgen\u021b\u0103, vor deveni parte din inspec\u021biile periodice. De asemenea, urmeaz\u0103 s\u0103 fie introduse controale specifice pentru vehiculele electrice \u0219i hibride, pe m\u0103sur\u0103 ce acestea devin tot mai r\u0103sp\u00e2ndite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pentru combaterea fraud\u0103rii kilometrajului, o problem\u0103 frecvent\u0103 pe pia\u021ba ma\u0219inilor second-hand, service-urile vor fi obligate s\u0103 \u00eenregistreze citirile odometrului atunci c\u00e2nd intervin asupra unui vehicul, iar produc\u0103torii vor introduce datele ma\u0219inilor conectate \u00eentr-o baz\u0103 de date na\u021bional\u0103.
