Este construit pe mai multe insule si este legat prin 8 poduri. Acesta are o lungime de 43 mile. Este numit si drumul mortii. Daca va intrebati de ce ar vrea cineva sa calatoreasca pe acest drum ar trebui sa stiti ca este singurul drum de legatura intre satele izolate din Bolivia. Este foarte ingusta si deloc sigura. In timpul ierni, intreg drumul este acoperit de zapada sau inundat de apa care curge de pe munte.
