Fabrica rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 a fost prima \u00een care a \u00eenceput produc\u021bia acestui motor. Datorit\u0103 configura\u021biei cu turbo \u0219i trei cilindri propulsorul TCe 90 c\u00e2nt\u0103re\u0219te cu 15 kg mai pu\u021bin dec\u00e2t un motor de putere echivalent\u0103. O parte din piesele care \u00eel compun (carterul de distribu\u0163ie, semela, capacul chiulas\u0103, carterul cilindri, capacul palier, volanta \u015fi arborele cotit) sunt fabricate \u00een uzina Dacia.
