România sărbătorește Ziua Culturii Naționale la 15 ianuarie, data de naștere a poetului național Mihai Eminescu.

Pentru Ministerul Afacerilor Externe, Ziua Culturii Naționale marchează debutul acţiunilor de diplomaţie publică şi culturală organizate anual, prin rețeaua de misiuni diplomatice și consulare, menite să promoveze cultura românească și să afirme elementele extraordinare și autentice care ne definesc în contextul valorilor patrimoniului cultural mondial.

Cu ocazia Zilei Culturii Naționale 2022, MAE oferă publicului, cu sprijinul Fundației Centrul Cultural ArtSociety, o serie de filme dedicate unora dintre marii maeștri ai picturii românești: Nicolae Grigorescu, Ștefan Luchian, Nicolae Tonitza, Camil Ressu, Ion Țuculescu și Constantin Piliuță.

Filmele sunt grupate în două serii: „Maeștri ai artei vizuale românești și poveștile lor“ (un proiect al Institutului Cultural Român, realizat în colaborare cu ArtSociety și curatoriat de echipa Art Safari) și „Maeștrii artei românești” (un proiect Art Safari, susținut de Ministerul Culturii).

Romania celebrates the National Culture Day on January 15, the date of birth of the national poet, Mihai Eminescu.

For the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Culture Day marks the beginning of the public and cultural diplomacy actions annually organized through the network of its diplomatic and consular missions in order to promote the Romanian culture and to affirm the extraordinary and authentic elements that define us in the context of the world cultural heritage values.

On the National Culture Day 2022, the Romanian MFA offers to the public, with the support of the ArtSociety Cultural Center Foundation, a series of films dedicated to some of the greatest masters of the Romanian art: Nicolae Grigorescu, Ștefan Luchian, Nicolae Tonitza, Camil Ressu, Ion Țuculescu and Constantin Piliuță.

The films are part of two different series: “Masters of the Romanian Visual Art and Their Stories” (a project of the Romanian Cultural Institute, produced in collaboration with ArtSociety and curated by the Art Safari team) and “Masters of the Romanian Art” (an Art Safari project, supported by the Ministry of Culture).
